Student-run Portfolio

The Student-Run Portfolio represents the core investment activity of the Deos Finance Club. It is a structured investment portfolio fully managed by selected members of the organization, operating under modern portfolio management and risk management principles.

Members actively participate in market analysis, macroeconomic research, stock and ETF selection, and the construction of diversified investment strategies. Every decision is supported by data-driven analysis, valuation models, and a clear investment thesis. Regular investment meetings are held, during which members present reports, debate strategic choices, and document decisions in a professional, fund-like environment.

The objective of the Student-Run Portfolio is not only educational, but also performance-driven. The long-term goal is to outperform a benchmark index such as the S&P 500, while maintaining disciplined risk control and professional investment methodology. Through this process, members gain hands-on experience that closely resembles the workflow of a real asset management desk.
